FAQ

How do I book a vehicle from MotoStyle?

Booking is fast and simple. You have three options: use the booking form on our website, send us a WhatsApp message at +30 6989 539711, or email us at info@motostyle.gr. Tell us your dates, preferred vehicle, and pick-up location. We confirm availability within 2 hours. No online payment is required – you pay when you pick up the vehicle.

No. We don’t require any online payment or deposit to confirm your booking. You pay the full rental amount when you pick up the vehicle. We accept cash and credit cards. Your booking is a reservation request – no money at risk.

Yes. We offer discounted daily rates for rentals of 3 days or more, with additional savings for weekly rentals (7+ days). The longer you rent, the lower the daily rate. For stays of 2 weeks or more, contact us directly for a custom quote – we’re always happy to work out a deal.

No. Transparent pricing is one of our core values. The price we quote is the price you pay – it includes the vehicle, full insurance, helmets (for quads/scooters), and road assistance. The only additional cost is fuel, which you handle yourself using our full-to-full policy. No surprise fees at pickup, ever.

You can cancel or modify your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Since we don’t take online payments, there’s no money at risk. Just contact us via phone, WhatsApp, or email to make changes. We understand holiday plans can shift.

You need a valid driving license and a passport or national ID. EU driving licenses are accepted directly. Non-EU license holders should carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their national license. We’ll verify your documents at pickup – it only takes a minute.

For quads and buggies, a standard Category B car licence is sufficient. For scooters over 50cc, Greek law requires an A1, A2, or A licence depending on the engine size.

The minimum age depends on the vehicle type. For scooters up to 50cc: 16 years old with an appropriate license. For quads, buggies, and scooters over 50cc: 18 years old. For car rentals: 20 years old and holding a valid license for at least 1 year. All drivers must present a valid license at pickup.

All vehicles comes with our Basic Insurance (€500 excess) covers third-party liability, engine, wheels & tires, weather damage, fire protection, glass & mirrors, free road assistance, and minor scratches. Our Premium Full Insurance brings the excess to zero and adds theft protection, damage while parked, and dents coverage. No security deposit or credit card hold is required for either plan. Daily rates vary by vehicle.

Yes. Clean, properly sized helmets are included free of charge with every quad and scooter rental – for both driver and passenger. Wearing a helmet is required by Greek law. If you need a specific size or an extra helmet, just let us know when booking.

Call us immediately and we’ll provide fast roadside assistance. We cover the wider Stalis, Hersonissos, and Malia area with quick response times. If the issue can’t be resolved on the spot, we’ll deliver a replacement vehicle to your location so your holiday doesn’t stop.

Yes. We offer hotel delivery and pickup throughout the Stalis, Hersonissos, and surrounding areas. Simply provide your hotel name when booking and we’ll arrange delivery at your preferred time. Delivery within the Stalis area is typically free of charge.

We use a simple same-to-same policy: return the vehicle with the same fuel level it was given to you. Fuel costs are not included in the rental price. We’ll show you the nearest gas stations when you pick up. If you return the vehicle with less fuel, we charge a small refueling fee.

It depends on the vehicle type. Cars can travel freely throughout the entire island of Crete on paved roads. Scooters, quads, and buggies have specific range limits based on engine size — smaller vehicles are designed for local adventures around Stalis and Hersonissos, while larger ones can reach destinations like Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos, and the Lasithi Plateau. At pickup, our team will explain the exact zones for your vehicle and mark them on a map. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions. Taking any vehicle off the island (e.g., by ferry) is not permitted.

Over 60% of our fleet consists of brand new or recently upgraded vehicles. Every vehicle undergoes regular professional maintenance to ensure reliability and safety. We take pride in the condition of our fleet – you won’t find worn-out or neglected vehicles at MotoStyle.

The first rental day starts at pickup and ends at 20:00. If you pick up after 20:00, your first day extends until 20:00 the following day. Every additional day is a full 24-hour period from that point.

Examples:

  • Pickup at 13:00 → Day 1 ends at 20:00 the same day
  • Pickup at 21:00 → Day 1 ends at 20:00 the next day

Returning the vehicle later than your scheduled drop-off time may result in an additional day’s charge.
